Strengthening Counter Trafficking Efforts (SCOUT) in Sri Lanka
Funded by the International Organization for Migration. Objectives: To empower civil society organizations (including the non-governmental organizations and the CBOs) to support government efforts to address trafficking in persons (TIP) at local levels. Results: 6 FRC staff members were trained as trainers by IOM through 2 programs. 1 orientation session was conducted FRC staff in Vavuniya. Discussions were carried out with key Government stakeholders related to the project implementation and importance of it in the Vavuniya District
